Good to Know
So many site visits involve potential clients that are still in the dark as to what they should be asking, what steps they need to take next and where they should go for guidance through the planning to building stages. At Collyer Construction, 威而鋼
we are always happy to assist even if the enquiry doesn’t translate into securing the project. We are proud of our FMB accreditation, for holding all the relevant insurance policies and being able to provide countless testimonials of our work.
The below links gives some great example questions of what home owners should be asking right from the start, plus some guidance on what to check when you have found the contractor you think you’d like to work with:

Home extensions and pricing seem like a dark art sometimes.
We know quotes and estimates can vary wildly, often the final price bears little resemblance to the initial estimate you went with.
This is why we won’t price a job unless you have planning permission AND full drawings. We just don’t believe in the finger in the air technique, we also won’t price down to catch customers. We want you to get a good job, with an excellent finish and a fair and HONEST price upfront. We always recommend a reasonably sized contingency budget, because all builds throw up some surpri犀利士
ses. However, experienced you are.
