Chris Collyer - Owner

Collyer Construction Ltd is directed and professionally managed by Chris Collyer. Chris has more than 30 years experience in the construction industry and uses this expertise to ensure every build we undertake is a perfect fit for Collyer Construction Ltd. Chris maintains a very hands on and proactive approach to every project, staying involved and in regular communication from the initial tender stages through to completion. Previous clients have commented on how Chris’s expertise and knowledge has been invaluable in exceeding the visions that they initially had in mind for their builds (see “Projects”) Chris’s sympathetic and understanding approach guides our clients smoothly through their project with minimal stress and interruption to their busy lives.

Simon - Project Manager

Simon is our main Project Manager who will oversee most jobs that are running for Collyer Construction so will be a familiar face to clients and always a good point of contact.

Simon knows the workings of Collyer Construction inside out, having subcontracted for us on many occasions. Having a strong bricklaying background and also having run his own construction company, Simon is well used to the build process and delivering quality projects for clients.

He is calm and a true gentle giant who brings both endless banter and his unflappable nature to the building site. We are very lucky to have Simon working with us, another credit to the Collyer Construction team.

Richard - Project Manager

Richard Sherfield is another of our project managers, specializing in brickwork having an extensive number of years of construction experience. Richard is friendly and amenable to clients requirements and works tirelessly to ensure expectations are exceeded. He expertly manages the day to day operation of the trades on our construction projects, ensuring continuity for clients and an immediate point of contact for queries or amendments. Richard shares the Collyer Construction Ltd ethos of seeing projects through from the foundations stage right through to the final finishing touches.

Our dedicated team of labourers & craftsmen

Our extensive range of labourers and craftsmen are hand selected by Chris to ensure that they meet and uphold the reputation that Collyer Construction Ltd has enviably built over the last 10 years. We also have an approved list of architects, plumbers and electricians who we work closely work, and are happy to recommend these should they be required.

Laura – Chris’s PA

Laura is Chris’s PA and looks after most of the financials at Collyer Construction. Laura ensures that the wheels of the business are kept seamlessly moving behind the scenes, and clients receive a personal touch to their builds . Having a young family, she is used to being very organised, so ensures that Chris’s diary is managed with the same high degree of professionalism that we offer to all our projects.
