Rear extension, dormer creation and full house renovation

This was an extensive project spanning over a year in which a traditional cottage was transformed into a modern home whilst retaining the cottage feel to the building. The addition of a rear extension with patio doors brought much needed space and light to create a large kitchen diner area. The bathrooms were luxuriously appointed with a feature piece free standing bath in the master bedroom suite.

The ground floor was fitted with Nu-Heat underfloor heating system and then tiled throughout with a double aspect log burner becoming the focal point of the open plan living space.

A soft wooden engineered floor was installed throughout the four bedrooms upstairs which matched the muted palette of colour to bring light and freshness to the home.

We look forward to returning to the project later in 2024 to complete the external decorating once the weather warms up.
